Hi, I'm Lindsay

HOLISTIC NURSE | RN PSYCHOTHERAPIST | IBCLC-CERTIFIED LACTATION CONSULTANT

I’m a mother, advocate, forever-student and the founder of NurtureHer. My two decades of experience in nursing (from intensive care and oncology to labour, delivery and postpartum) has entirely and forever changed me.

Among the many things I’ve learned from this work are these core beliefs:

• Our healthcare system is trying its best—with too few resources.

• Women are inequitably relied upon to keep this system running yet feel the most under-served by it.
• Modern medicine’s singular focus on physical health lacks the depth of healing that we need during and after life-altering health events.

It's my mission to fill these gaps through whole-person care that empowers my clients to navigate life’s dynamism, these systems and—most importantly—their own intuition about their needs, desires and capacity.

our ethos

We believe that the responsibility of healthcare is much greater than symptom management; that every individual has the inherent right to feel safe and comfortable in their own body; that cups must be full before poured from.

At NurtureHer we prioritize self-care for care-givers, integrating body, mind and spiritual well-being to build a sustainable and enjoyable foundation for life-long holistic health.
